Overview

THE ROLE:

This position will serve as an Analyst for Herbalife's quality management systems (QMS). The individual will be responsible for the following:

1) Analyzing data and developing strategies for Quality Operations group.

2) Producing reports to translate data analysis to business insights; this is to enable management to take action on findings and recommendations.

3) Monthly reporting of KPIs and scorecards for distribution to all parties.

 

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

  • Lead the development and implementation of BI dashboards and reports; manage information stored from Herbalife systems (includes LIMS, Oracle ERP and Agile PLM) to statistically analyze, interpret data and investigate cause for solutions.
  • Define and articulate rules required for data accuracy and consistency; identify and resolve data integrity issues (i.e. investigate data quality issues using SQL and scripting).
  • Analyze data trending generated for process improvement projects; track common issues and implement fixes to address their root cause.
  • Support problem solving capabilities through root cause analysis and develop and enable data-driven solutions using a range of analytical tools (DMAIC, ROI, FMEA, etc.).
  • Assist in updating department metrics and reporting shift activities.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to improve the quality management processes, systems and standards.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and/or cost savings.
  • Gather data from all applicable sources on a daily, weekly and monthly basis (or as needed) to produce quality control metrics; Ensure report accuracy and quality and review key operational metrics with stakeholders.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Skills

  • Strong analytical and research skills to evaluate complex data; ability to convert analysis into insights.
  • Strong understanding of problem solving and knowledge of root cause analysis tools.
  • Strong systems acumen and data science skills (Python, R or equivalent).  Experience with and knowledge of database query languages (ODBC, SQL, Oracle or equivalent).
  • Superior customer service and adaptability to changing requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Display personal accountability for results and integrity.
  • Exhibits positive people skills, and a team approach to problem resolution.

 

Experience: 

  • 8+ years of industry-related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Technology
  • Analyst experience in application to pharmaceutical, nutraceutical or food environment  

 

Education:

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in Science or Technology or M.B.A.
