About the role:

Senior Product Manager will be responsible for development and launch of brand-new products as well as manage current products in terms of upgrades and reformulations. Analyse sales data to help support marketing campaigns for current products. Manage other product development related tasks such as sensory testing and product launches. Interact and work closely with several key functions such as regional Marketing teams, R&D, Innovation, Pricing and Marketing Communications.

 

In this role you will:

•   NPD: Oversee building overall launch plans, liaising with different departments from the concept phase to getting the

     product to market such as product development, positioning, pricing, forecasting, marketing 

     communication and promotions around the launch, POS and PR

•   Manage and update the EMEA Agile workflow for all NPD and Gap Filler projects owning status document tracking

     progress

•   Working closely with markets on roll out plans, and champion projects with WW team, completing all relevant

     paperwork in PPM system

•   Prepare competitor analysis reports to formulate business cases for pricing and product development across NPD and

     Gap Fillers

•   Managing Category Management across markets of multiple categories

•   Management of gap filler products into new and existing markets

•   Brief Marketing Content and Campaigns team for all marketing communications and training materials

•   Regular communication with the Supply Chain group and Marketing Managers offering ongoing status and monthly

     product updates. Work with EU Supply Chain to ensure products get to market in a timely manner

•   Interacts with the regional cross-functional teams and the local EMEA markets

 

Our requirements:

  • Educated to degree level (preferable Project Management or Marketing) or equivalent marketing qualification or industry experience
  • Min 5 years of relevant experience in Product Management, gained within an European environment in food, beverages or nutrition area
  • Knowledge in supply chain, pricing, forecasting, packaging
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Agile is as asset
  • Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Strong customer service and results orientation
  • Good insight and the ability to transfer this into soundly thought out marketing strategy
  • Sound commercial awareness and good analytical skills
  • A flair and interest in innovation
  • Strong project management skills and flexible attitude
  • Proactive, positive thinker, and goal oriented
  • Good communicator at all levels
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity
  • Ability to function as an effective team member
