Overview

THE ROLE: 

Mainly daily functions, which are not limited to: Properly performs the Inventory Accounting records for the entities/Business and in accordance with Company’s Policies and Local and USGAAP Accounting frameworks; Prepare proper and timely reconciliation of Inventory related GL & Sub GL. Prepare proper reports and information requested by Corporate and timely delivered in accordance to a calendar; Support on Internal and External Audit requirements. 

 

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: (Responsibilities and tasks associated with the job) 

  • Support on Preparation & validation of Journal Entries related to Inventory & Cogs.
  • Preparation of month end Inventory reconciliations & Cogs reconciliations.
  • Participation in Monthly closing activity.
  • Preparation of Inventory schedules/Working and arranging the supporting documentation for internal as well as external Audit.
  • Monitor standard cost on month & month basis and suggest necessary changes along with analysis.
  • Active involvement in PI count related activities and validation of invoices on timely basis.
  • Standard cost revisión on anual & monthly basis.
  • PPV Mis/ Capitalization related enties and working.
  • Other activities as per Business requirements.

Part of the Financial reporting team who is responsible for the reporting of financial statements to Region and Corporate team.

 

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: (List requirements, including education and experience needed for the job)

 

Skills

  • Accounting, Internal Controls, and SOD, 
  • Microsoft Excel intermediate level
  • Ability to be a team player
  • Ability to adapt to who evolves the Organization.
  • Attention to details

 

Experience: 

  • Knowledge in Accounting, Internal Control and system knowledge.
  • Experience on Microsoft (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to consistently perform and process financial information 
  • Ability to carry out responsibilities under general supervision
  • Ability to solve practical and critical problems.
  • Ability to function as effective team member.
  • Experience on ERPs Oracle, SAP

 

Education: 

  •  Bcom, Mcom or any Higher Education
