POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
A seasoned professional with 5+ years of industry experience with a spread of 2+ years in Commercetools development experience with an emphasis on e-commerce platform implementations.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- You will be part of a team that builds large and medium-size Composable Commerce solutions for our clients
- You will plan, develop, test, and document different implementations as a part of a team
- Provide technical guidance to other team members
- Regularly attend internal training courses to maintain the required skillset
- Help us to build a knowledge base around Commerce tools and key practices

Skills:
Required
- Experience in Commerce tools custom applications development
- Experience in Commerce tools integrations (configuring/installing)
- Experience in Commerce tools UI Kit
- Experience in Apigee and Kafka
- Knowledge of microservice patterns, security best practices, engineering methodologies
- Expertise in designing scalable backend and front-end architectures
- Proven experience with JavaScript including stateful SPA, asynchronous programming, Promises, ES6
- Experience with React.js/Next.js is a big plus.
- Familiarity with server-side web development technologies like .NET, NodeJS
- Good experience in REST and GraphQL
- Strong understanding of HTTP protocol
- Experience with unit and integration testing of browser based Javascript
- Upper-Intermediate English, both verbal and written
- Ability to estimate/forecast time to complete specified project tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills
Certificates / Training:
- Required: Certifications demonstrating industry recognition for area of expertise
Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in applications with deep expertise in one area
- 2+ Years’ in Commercetools development experience with an emphasis on e-commerce platform implementations
Education:
Required
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent

- Advanced Technical Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting the performance and operation of high-traffic transactional web system in production environments, including log aggregation, remote debugging, pro-active monitoring of systems, for example through developing alerts
- Continuous Delivery, including source control practices, versioning, branching, pipeline development, automation acceptance, and release management
- Experience with international or multi-level marketing business
- Experience with monitoring tools.
- Certifications for desired non-niche programming languages
