Supervisor - Events, Training & Education - GSA (m/w/d)

About the role:
As a Supervisor - Events, you will act as an interface between the Distributor Success, Member Services, Finance, Brand Support, and Promotions & Communications departments. You will be in constant contact with all relevant departments and maintain professional relationships with our members. The Supervisor is also responsible for managing a team of two in the Events area for the three countries (Germany, Switzerland, and Austria). The focus and priority of all efforts will be the German market.
In this role, you will:
- Close cooperate with colleagues in Distributors Success, Promotions, Communications, Member Services, Finance and Brand Support
- Responsible for project work in the area of Events, Training & Education GSA as well as for the planning, organization and implementation of various events ahead (Focus / Priorisation is Germany)
- Organize of regional and national/subregional events/seminars
- Take part of EMEA best practice sharing calls
- Responsible for event billing/budgeting and timely forecasting as well as post analysis
- Optimize the Event Flow, and take care for relevant & effective trainings within the events (like World Team School, Supervisor Training) in GSA
- Oversee daily activities within the Events team to best support the market
- Lead & contact person for the S&P leadership group in Germany (“Chairman” of on- and offline meetings)
- Goal setting and monitoring the work performance of the Directs Reports
- Responsible for training, motivating, delegating and evaluating the Directs
- Lead by example by setting high standards for service and behavior within the team
Our Requirements:
- Commercial training or higher qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the areas of event planning & organization and customer service would be an advantage
- Direct selling industry experience or B2B experience will be preferred, but is not mandatory
- Flexibility and perseverance
- Ability to work independently
- Very good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of other foreign languages would be an advantage (French, Italian)
- High sense of responsibility and ability to take the initiative
- Customer-oriented attitude and proactiveness
- Very good communication skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Very good PC skills in MS-Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel for business, including weekends (if required)
- Driving licence for class B (C1 /BE is a plus)
