Compliance Advisor with Polish + Czech/Romanian

 

About the role:

The purpose of this position is to provide guidance, educate and coach Independent Members on the Herbalife Member Rules of Conduct, Business Marketing Plan, the terms and conditions of the Herbalife Membership Application and Agreement and regulatory requirements. It is also to audit, enforce and correct violations, in order to promote an ethical and fair environment in which Herbalife products may be distributed, Independent Member businesses may thrive and to protect Herbalife’s intellectual property rights, thereby protecting Herbalife’s Independent Members, the Customers and the brand and image of the company. 

 

In this role you will:

  • Provide guidance to Herbalife Nutrition Members to ensure that their business operations/practices, daily methods of operations are compliant with external regulatory bodies, local and European legal requirements and the internal Herbalife standards, policies and rules.
  • Be knowledgeable and updated with the Herbalife Member Rules of Conduct, Business Marketing Plan, Herbalife’s intellectual property rights and local regulatory requirements in order to support and coach Members to conduct business in compliance with internal and external rules/laws.
  • Exalt and protect Herbalife’s reputation by providing Compliance Training, Guidance, Coaching and Business Partnering to Members on how they should conduct their businesses in a manner that is ethical and fair and that their messages are consistent with the company’s.
  • Enforce the Rules of Conduct & Member Policy by following the standard resolution and providing coaching & education and when needed sanction to Members.
  • Process complaints from Members/customers/internal & external parties, and proactive initiatives, as assigned by the Country MPC team, and record in the HCM and MPC system in accordance with SLA.
  • Responsible for the overall file handling procedure includes but not limited to research, investigation, documentation as well as oral/written communication with Herbalife Members and possibly external parties. Able to prioritize with quality service aligning with the defined processes and meeting the SLAs. Managing each case file with an efficient solution and in a professional, timely and qualitative manner.
  • Perform proactive research in order to minimize potential violations related to Member’s business activities: includes but not limited to internet research, generating internal reports to analyze trends of Member’s activities, effectively using applicable databases and systems, purchasing products from suspicious channels and/or work with external agencies.
  • Prepare and present professional, objective and complete Compliance case studies including case file resolutions to management and, where requested, present findings to Executives, Legal and Senior Management.
  • Interact and communicate professionally with various stakeholders: local offices, Members and Customers, legal, Member Services, external agencies, etc.
  • Support and participate in trainings and other corporate activities. 
  • Attend and support Member and corporate events as needed.
  • Assist the Member Policy Administration team with the roll-out and updating of Rules and Advisories, as well as translations as required.
  • Any other specific targets to be achieved will be agreed and documented during quarterly/annual reviews.

Our requirements:

  • At least 1 year experience in a service-oriented industry (or relevant education, master’s degree desired, minimum Bachelor degree)
  • Very good English and fluent in Polish and Czech/Romanian is a must
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and telephone etiquette
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong negotiation and customer service skills 
  • Strong fact-finding skills and excellent follow-through skills
  • Good understanding of Analytical and Data Interpretation
  • Strong logical, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to accurately and precisely summarize and present key information
  • High degree of flexibility in order to function under varied timelines and adapt as the external environment and organization evolve
  • The ability to work under deadline pressure while maintaining a positive and professional attitude in a very fast-paced environment
  • Able to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity
  • Previous experience in legal/compliance related position as an asset
