Overview

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT 
CA with 3-6 years experience who is a self-starter with an eye for detail to work on monthly accruals, books closure, preparation of MIS and analytics, interact with various departments, assess the compliance of Accounting Standards and Companies Act.

 

•   Preparation of Financial Statements including notes and disclosures

•   Preparation of detailed schedules and workpapers as supporting for Financial Statement

•   Handling audit and being SPOC for internal stakeholders as well as auditors

•   Preparation of accruals for various expenses on monthly basis and Financial Statement analysis

•   Preparation of reconciliation between profit of local GAAP vs US GAAP

•   Working closely with user departments to ensure timely closure of books

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•   Individual contributor, may have one person reporting into this position.
 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education: CA

 

Roles & Responsibility:
•   Preparation of Financial Statements including notes and disclosures
•   Preparation of detailed schedules and workpapers as supporting for Financial Statement
•   Handling audit and being SPOC for internal stakeholders as well as auditors 
•   Preparation of intercompany accounting entries, reconciliation and analysis.
•   Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
•   Performing monthly accruals for expenses and analysis
•   Performing MIS statement on monthly basis for expenses
•   Preparation of reconciliation between profit of local GAAP vs US GAAP
•   Working closely with user departments to ensure timely closure of books 
•   Ageing of balance sheet items as well as address and clear open items 
•   Preparing of Lease Abstract Forms 
•   Reviewing of various contracts to assess the accounting impact
•   Reviewing invoices booked by AP team and summarize them
•   Collation and working on sox control evidences on monthly basis
•   Preparation of audit schedules and collation of audit evidences for various areas
•   Preparation of lease accounting for operating lease, finance lease and embedded leases as per ASC 842 / Ind AS 116

 

Skills :

•   Good communication skills, quick learner, self starter, Be a team player and support all members of the team

 

Experience:

•   3-6 years post qualification experience, Big 4 experience preferred
