Overview

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:

  • Understand, implement and improve Customs clearance processes/activities according to SOP's/ Local WI's.
  • Coordinate and provide the support for the import customs documents with the third party customs broker, Venray warehouse, third party WH and finance team.
  • Addresses issues during customs clearance – customs inspections, checkups and documents requests, delays at customs and MOH requirements.
  • Analyze, solve and if needed raise any non-compliance/deviations on all Customs processes and SOP's to your manager.
  • Support Internal Auditing /SOX, e.g. Data gathering and deliver proof upon request.
  • Maintain KPI on Customs clearance status with external Customs broker for in transit Herbalife shipments.
  • Be aware off any new local Customs regulations which might impact the HN supply chain.
  • Make sure that Customs broker applied Herbalife codes.Perform, register,administrate and raise to the Distribution Compliance Specialist on SOX C1.4 checks, in case of difference find out root cause. 
  • Ensuring detailed coordination between customers, custom brokers, and departments within the company. Information and documents exchange between involved parties.
  • An Ambassador for Herbalife Brand in line with our values and EMEA goals to assure the Brand & image is maintained. 
  • To have actively look for current process, review improvement areas and  propose solution to improve the service quality and  increase  the member satisfaction .
  • Prepare all admin work; coordinate all paper work, make sure all documents are prepared, signed and documented on time. 
  • Ensure good inventory levels in all locations through close contact with Planning (ASCP advice), identify possible under/overstock risks. Link between Country Management and Venray Planning.
  • Support manager and E&A team on sustainability initiatives.
  • Perform invoice checking related to Customs broker and other vendors handled during the import process.
  • Approve shipments from Venray and make sure documentation is in compliance with authorities.
  • Coordinate with LSP, delivery from Port to WH after shipment clearance from customs.
  • Be able to replace the Logistics Coordinator during their absence.

 

Qualifications

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Spezialization in logistics would be desirable

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Min 3 years of experience in the logistics import area.
  • Experience with import processes at Israel. 

 

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Broad range of technical skills and knowledge of spezialized area
  • Proficient in Microsoft office.
  • Ability to perform (root cause) analyses
  • Effectively communicate in English (oral and written).

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:
