POSITION SUMMARY
This role ensures smooth packaging operations at CM sites and projects. The candidate will implement controls to ensure RFT products, build technical capabilities through training, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality. Close coordination with various teams is essential for achieving organizational goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop Packaging Concepts: Collaborate with internal teams and CMs to conduct production trials and provide feedback and recommendations.
- Review Manufacturing Activities: Ensure compliance with Herbalife requirements during manufacturing and packaging.
- Troubleshooting Support: Assist CMs with any issues during manufacturing and packaging.
- Investigate Non-Conformances: Work with CMs and cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement CAPA.
- Implement Best Practices: Collaborate with packing engineers to improve line efficiencies and capabilities.
- Conduct Tests: Perform fill tests, durability, and runnability tests for new products and share reports with cross-functional teams.
- Support NPD Launch: Conduct production trials and provide feedback to support new product development.
- Address Customer Complaints: Coordinate with CMs and QA teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Enhance Capacity and Capability: Work with CMs to develop machine assets and automation opportunities.
- Provide Technical Support: Train team members on packaging equipment and troubleshooting.
- Lead Improvement Initiatives: Drive continuous improvement projects related to packaging equipment.
- Ensure RFT for FG: Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure right-first-time dispatches.
- Identify Sustainability Opportunities: Support manufacturing leadership in sustainability initiatives.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to manufacturing footprint expansion and highlight requirements
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setting up goals for himself/herself and for the team.
- Effective delegation of the activities, make team accountable for the tasks.
- Monitoring employee productivity, providing constructive feedback, coaching and follow ups
Education:
- Bachelor in Packing Technology/Packaging Science/Engineering/IIPM OR Graduate- B. tech. in Mechanical engineering with Food industry experience.
- Six sigma green belt/Black belt will have additional advantage.
Minimum 7-10 Years of Experience
