About the Role:

The Office Professional provides administrative and HR support to the Country Director, including scheduling, travel arrangements, marketing meetings, and sales support. Responsibilities include handling general administrative tasks and serving as a contact person for visitors. You will work with the facility coordinator to ensure the office is clean, stocked with kitchen products, snacks, and office supplies. In this role, you will also collaborate with the HR Business Partner for Ghana on employee onboarding and offboarding. Additionally, you'll work together to foster a positive office atmosphere and organize various activities.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Country Director, ensuring all tasks are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee and manage third-party employees, including cleaning staff, ensuring standards are maintained.
  • Collaborate with the HR Business Partner onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Coordinate with other departments to provide HR-related assistance as needed.
  • Participate in special projects, offering administrative and HR expertise to meet project goals.

 

Our Requirements:

  • Minimum of a first degree (BSc Admin HR or similar is advantageous).
  • At least 3 years’ experience as an assistant, secretary, or receptionist or administration specialist.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong ability to communicate effectively.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with a proven ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; knowledge of Access and Visio is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under minimal supervision.
  • Typing speed of 65+ words per minute is preferred.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong focus on confidentiality and the ability to maintain a positive company image.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels, with a sensitivity to cultural diversity.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative approach to work.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
