POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The senior service now developer will be part of Service Now development team. The team is collectively part of IS Infrastructure & Operations. The team works closely with the Helpdesk, Service Management (Change, Configuration, Release Processes), as well as other GTS team.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
· Follow clear and effective development approach for SaaS model
· Support the team for challenging issues
· Designing of best feasible solution based on requirement
· Work with the process owners of the tool to get their requirements implemented
· Work on projects and other tasks, as required in any effort to align IS with the Business
QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills:
Required
· Service now development Experience
· Experience in optimizing and maintaining of MID Servers
· Hands on Web Services, MID Server based Integration and bi directional integration of tools with service now
· Experience on creation of custom module in service now
· Knowledge of ITIL methodologies and processes
· Debugging script and Working with complex Log Files
· Should have worked on creation of Service now Business Rule, UI Action, UI policy, Access control,
client script, work flows
· Good at creating required information for Reporting and Dashboards
· Java Scripting knowledge and hands on experience on it
· Use of Import Sets for data loading from external file or database to the service-now.com
· Knowledge in implementation of ITOM modules like Event Management, Discovery, etc.
· Knowledge of Configuration management, setup of CI’s and relationship
· Experience in implementation of CMDB and Discovery
· Experience with configuring and maintaining ServiceNow CMDB
Preferred
· ITIL Certification.
· SNOW Developer certification
Experience:
Required
· 5+ years of experience in Information Technology.
· 4+ years of development experience on service-now.
· Familiar with SDLC lifecycle.
Education:
Required
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
