Manager, Business Development
Location: Siliguri, West Bengal
POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Manager will be leading a sales team to grow the region’s business by way of supporting the distributors. The Manager will provide directions to the team to conduct deep dive analysis of various Distributor organization, help them identify their avenues of growth and improvement. The Manager will be responsible to plan and design events and promotions in the region to help grow the region’s business contribution. The manager will also be responsible to promote various national events and promotion in the region. He/She shall ensure ethical business practices amongst the team as well as with the distributor community.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Provide dynamic, and creative leadership; recruit, mentor, and inspire the sales team
- To develop, and maintain the Annual Strategic Sales & Marketing initiatives
- To support the distributor network with the promotion of local, regional, and word-wide Events and Incentives.
- To drive topline, and tap unexplored market, enhanced footprint in emerging markets
- Constantly monitoring, reviewing business trend, formulate corrective actions as, and when needed
- Build, and foster effective business relationship with all internal, and external stakeholders for collaborations
- Fair Understanding of P/L
- Regular review with team and build more effective communication
- Provide timely feedback to management regarding performance
- Demonstrate the ability to interact, cooperate and develop relationship with internal (Employees), and external (Distributors) stakeholders
- Driving, and motivating the team to bring out the optimum performance consistently
- Influencing – high level of interpersonal skills, demonstrates ability to present ideas and take people with them.
- To expand and improve the communications channels between distributors and Herbalife by providing accurate, up-to-date, and reliable information
- Work in conjunction with key local leaders and management to create and implement an integrated strategy to support our Distributors business needs.
- Establish a clear Distributor and consumer communication plan and overseeing implementation.
- Recommend potential Distributor promotions and ensuring that they fit within the global strategy by delivering Distributor excitement and momentum.
- Interact with Distributors to identify future growth potential in order to understand the needs of the markets and daily methods of operation.
- Manage event and promotions budgets effectively.
- Manage the PR and PO for the region.
- Build strong, positive relationships with your support teams in the relevant functions.
- Monitor DS performance, identify, and resolve issues.
- Set goals for the year in the assigned territory.
- Interacts with local MPC, Supply Chain & Member Service

Education Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
- 8 to 10 years of experience in sales and team management.
