About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Manager for Audit & Compliance to lead regulatory compliance efforts across FSSAI, GST, Trade License, Sustainability, and Trade Compliance.
This role demands expertise in supplier/internal audits, food technology, and compliance frameworks and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
In this Role, You Will
- Build and maintain compliance frameworks for distribution operations to meet regulatory and legal standards.
- Foster a compliance-driven culture within the team and with external partners (e.g., carriers, customs brokers).
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for critical areas like H&S, Inventory Control, QA, and Security.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and address gaps in compliance and SOP adherence.
- Oversee key licenses and certificates such as Trade Licenses, GST, and FSSAI, ensuring renewals and adherence.
- Lead and coordinate audit-related activities (internal and external), including resolving findings.
- Manage compliance reporting, risk assessments, and incident investigations, driving preventive actions.
- Collaborate on ESG (Environmental-Social-Governance) initiatives within distribution operations.
Our Requirements
- Education: Graduation in any discipline (specialization in audit preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years in audit, compliance, or related roles, with at least 1-2 years managing a team.
- Must-Have Skills:
- Expertise in FSSAI, GST, Trade License, Inventory, and Quality Audits.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and strong documentation skills.
- Proven experience in building and leading compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
