The role:
The Sr. Analyst, Sourcing - India at Herbalife International will play a pivotal role in our Information Technology sector, contributing to the success of our ambitious procurement objectives. This position is uniquely positioned to influence major procurement decisions, drive strategic sourcing activities, and build outstanding supplier relationships. You will be at the forefront of ensuring that our IT procurement processes are flawless and optimized, generating maximum value for the business.
How you would contribute:
- Attain maximum business advantages through applying category-specific supply strategies, specifying and optimizing products with supplier input, and seizing demand-side opportunities efficiently.
- Actively drive compliance with Herbalife Procurement Policy, Directive, Guidelines, and local Procurement SOPs, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct assessments of critical metrics by gathering input from user teams and setting up supplier platforms.
- Conduct market intelligence by searching for new vendors, setting pricing benchmarks through primary and secondary research.
- Engage in vendor interactions, including issuing Requests for Quotation (RFQ), acquiring quotes, resolving queries, and leading negotiations.
- Interact with user departments to gather details and specifications for required materials or services, conduct site visits for contract execution and service delivery, and suggest alternative vendors.
- Perform data analysis, including spend analysis and opportunity assessment.
- Apply advanced Excel skills for number crunching.
- Build Purchase Orders (POs) in Oracle and demonstrate proficiency with the RFx process.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal customers, both in written and verbal forms.

Skills and background required to be successful:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, with a preference for Procurement knowledge.
- Over seven (7) years of professional experience in business analysis, focusing on technical and commercial aspects of business-related contracting, procurement, and strategic sourcing.
- Experience in market intelligence and supplier analysis for indirect spend categories.
- Proficiency in sourcing strategies, contract management, and price benchmarking.
- Experience in management consulting, particularly in structured problem-solving and constructive challenge/probing, is advantageous.
- Outstanding clarity in communication, both written and verbal.
- A mature attitude with strong interpersonal skills, effective listening, and the ability to handle large volumes of data.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- A B. Tech degree is preferred.
