As the Supervisor, Logistics - India, you will have the outstanding opportunity to lead all aspects of logistics operations in the Central Region. Your role will involve coordinating with Logistics Service Providers and other external agencies to ensure detailed execution of secondary shipment deliveries and logistics operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead entire logistics operations and sales order (secondary) shipment delivery for the Central Region.
- Coordinate with Logistics Service Providers and other external agencies to achieve detailed delivery operations.
- Monitor Regional Logistics Operation and implement Standard Operating Procedures for secondary shipment delivery.
- Develop and put into action plans to improve Regional Delivery Performance and metrics related to Customer complaints.
- Serve as the single point of contact for all logistics activities in the region.
- Supervise and review cross-functional data to achieve efficiency in customer service delivery, ensuring timely resolution of customer issues.
- Monitor technical specifications, undelivered reports, RTO Shipments, and Logistics Service Provider performance.
- Ensure timely delivery of shipments dispatched to Logistics Service Providers.
- Generate and analyze delivery performance and MIS reports to evaluate regional performance.
- Maintain high service levels for Distributor Orders and ensure resolution of Distributor Order Complaints from Warehouse within 48 hours as per SLA.
- Support process automation projects and drive process improvements.
- Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and service improvements.
- Perform monthly assessments of all Logistics vendors using specified critical metrics.
- Meet with underperforming vendors monthly to understand issues and develop improvement action plans.
- Periodically review contracts with Logistics Service Providers and suggest addendum based on business requirements.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Lead the Warehouse Team and handle 3rd Party Warehouse and Logistics Service Providers.
Organizational Relationships
- Interact with all levels throughout the company at local levels.
- Maintain good interpersonal skills and handle horizontal relationships with all internal departments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate in any field.
- MBA in Material Management or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- More than 3-5 years of experience in managing warehouse operations.
- Proven experience in handling logistics partners and growing operations to new locations.
- Proficient in Oracle/SAP/Track Trace systems for shipment and complaints tracking/management.
- Advanced knowledge of Supply Chain Management preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office and capable of working with BI system modules at the report level.
- Strong data analysis and presentation skills.
