Overview

THE ROLE: The Supervisor Manufacturing is responsible for ensuring compliance (cGMP & GSP) and sustainability of various checks and controls, CAPA implemented at various lines at contract manufacturing sites. This position will provide trainings to CM staff as per the Herbalife requirement. The position will be responsible for Production & Compliance, Projects execution, onboarding new SKUs, facilitate and review the investigations to ensure actual root cause and effectiveness of CAPA implemented and to track the open investigations process. This position will provide routine status updates to his manager.

 

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: 

  1. Coordinate with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to ensure timely and compliant production as per business requirements.
  2. Review Quality Standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Work Instructions
  3. Ensure timely recording and communication of investigations.
  4. Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions to meet performance goals
  5. Participate in regular meeting &  training for enhancing skills and capabilities.
  6. Supervise day-to-day production activities for Solid & powder dosage forms to meet planned output and quality targets.
  7. Review and ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness of all Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), Batch Packing Records (BPRs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  8. Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives, promoting efficiency, waste reduction, and process optimization.
  9. Prepare and share MIS reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, covering production performance, raw material usage, manpower deployment, etc.
  10. Monitor and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for operational performance, efficiency, and compliance.
  11. Ensure production practices comply with GMP, safety standards, and internal quality systems.
  12. Support CM team for disciplined, accountable, and continuous improvement-driven work environment.
  13. Collaborate closely with QA, QC, Warehouse, and Planning teams to ensure effective cross-functional alignment and process flow.
  14. Support inventory management activities to maintain uninterrupted line operations.
  15. Lead troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for any production/process-related deviations.
  16. Coordinate with cross-functional teams for successful execution of trials, validations, and new product introductions (NPIs).
  17. Identify and raise red flags or visible challenges proactively to avoid production losses or compliance risks.

 

Education: Graduate in Food technology, Engineering, Pharmacy, Nutrition Science, Mechanical.

 

Experience: 5+ years of industry experience in Nutritional or Food or Pharma
