About the role and Team:

At Herbalife, quality is more than a standard it is at the core of everything we do. Our Quality Assurance team ensures all products meet global and local quality, safety, and regulatory standards across manufacturing, warehousing and distribution. Operating within a regional structure, our local QA teams across EMEA (including Turkey, Israel, the UK, and Poland) work closely with central hubs in Venray (Netherlands) and Krakow (Poland).

 

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be the dedicated QA specialist for Herbalife’s operations in Türkiye. Working from the Istanbul office while collaborating closely with the wider EMEA Quality Department based in Venray and Krakow. The role ensures that all products distributed in Türkiye meet Herbalife’s quality and compliance standards across production, warehousing, transportation and market release. You will oversee local production quality, conduct audits, inspect incoming and finished products. Monitor warehouse and temperature controlled logistics and support new product launches. A key part of the role involves identifying and resolving quality deviations, preparing regular quality reports and acting as the in market advocate for Herbalife’s quality standards. The position requires regular travel to warehouses and occasional visits to contract manufacturers.

 

 

In this role you will:

  • Ensure local production meets Herbalife quality requirements, including providing support, conducting audits, and visiting pilot production sites.
  • Inspect incoming products to verify compliance and develop improvement plans when deviations occur. This includes implementing and performing finished product inspections in local Turkish warehouses.
  • Verify that appropriate transportation and warehouse controls are in place, with particular attention to temperature monitoring.
  • Support the development and launch of new products.
  • Identify, document, and resolve quality concerns and deviations.
  • Conduct audits of contract manufacturers and warehouses.
  • Communicate product quality issues across the organization.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly quality reports to management.
  • Act as a strong advocate for quality standards within the country.
  • Travel to warehouses as required, with occasional visits to contract manufacturers.
  • Oversee regional quality compliance at all levels, including production at contract manufacturing sites, and address any quality issues that arise.

 

Our requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a QA role, ideally within FMCG, nutrition, food, or life‑sciences environments.
  • Knowledge of the Turkish Market and understanding of local regulatory expectations, quality standards and operational practices.
  • Audit and Inspection Experience - conducting audits, inspections, or quality checks in production or warehouse environments.

  • Problem Solving Skills with the ability to identify, document, and resolve quality deviations with a structured, analytical approach.

  • Confident communicator and able to collaborate with local teams, regional hubs and external partners.

  • Fluent in English both written and speaking is essential, as you will work closely with regional EMEA teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with Oracle is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a life sciences field such as Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related discipline.
  • Willingness to Travel to warehouses and occasionally to contract manufacturers within Türkiye.
