About the role:

To ensure global brand and company image in the market and provide support to the Sales & Marketing Manager in the development and implementation of sales & marketing projects. Preparation of marketing tools for Members (proof reading and editing), providing the information to Members and employees (hot faxes, local and corporate sites, Inside Herbalife and other corporate sources) and execution of operational activity of the Sales Strategy & Marketing Dept. To help organize, promote and attend corporate training events, promotions, qualifications, rewards and Sales analyses and financial support of S&M department (Marketing Fund overviews, sales events budget control etc). To assist with a variety of other sales and marketing related issues, aimed at supporting the Members network in Moldova.

 

In this role you will:

  • Provide support in the development and the production of all marketing materials, including literature and market research documents. Manage the execution process of product launches, promotions and all the above. Provide support in the growth of the Herbalife business through effective implementation of all Corporate Marketing Programs. Liaise with Corporate Marketing to implement regional and global marketing programs.
  • Provide support in the preparation, adaptation, translation of flyers to promote specific qualifications, promotions, training events, HBN broadcasts, product announcements, etc. and have a working mechanism to monitor the database of Members addresses in order to be up to date for effective communication.
  • Adapt (translate, content) of corporate literature items and propose local ones if considered necessary. Ensure correct global image for all product and literature produced whilst incorporating local / legal and other requirements.
  • Provide support in translations of text, legal checking and translation accuracy and ensure that the marketing message is correct. Obtain final approvals by liaison with local markets and suppliers.

  • Take overall responsibility for liaison with suppliers (printing, photocopying, dispatch, mailing, translating companies) to ensure accurate pricing and invoicing. Maintain local pricing files and competitor analysis.
  • Liaise with the local 3rd party to ensure Members are provided with the sufficient level of service and the 3rd party follows all procedures and requirements in accordance with the agreement with Herbalife.
  • Pre and Post launch analysis of product and literature sales to maximize launch potential. Provide Competitor information, supporting data and marketing research information as required. Prepare country analysis and strategy documents where required.
  • Interface with all departments and offices to ensure efficient implementation and understanding of corporate marketing policies and strategies.
  • Ensure correct global images for all products and literature produced whilst incorporating local/legal and other requirements in cooperation with Sales Strategy & Marketing Coordinator.
  • Assisting in the organization of corporate training events and attending those - prepare speaker packages (including all current promotional flyers/overheads, host country information, local product lists, details of new products being launched, etc.), reserve hotel accommodation & book speakers’ flights, etc. Translate any written materials that corporate speakers may use for their training. Prepare post-promotional flyers. Source & collate useful information on meeting locations & surrounding areas, etc.  Prepare hand-outs & recognition certificates. All tasks must be completed on a timely basis to ensure the smooth running of the training events. Summarize attendance figures & revenue generated immediately after each event.
  • Coordinate different projects and committee meetings related to them, including development, planning, follow up and results analyses for: Roadshow and sport events.
  • Support Sales & Marketing Manager with any other Sales & Marketing projects and administration associated with events & special promotions aimed at enhancing sales & recruiting activity – this will be required periodically.

Our requirements:

Experience

  • Previous experience in a sales & marketing type environment desirable (approx. 2-3 years);
  • Experience with event organization, preferably in an international environment/company  (of advantage).
  • Good PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint – minimum requirements). 
  • Talent to text and design advertising/promotion materials (of advantage)

Essential Technical Skills

  • Fluency in Romanian and English essential (both written & verbal)
  • Commercial experience displaying proof of strong organizational skills.
  • Analytical & financial skills 
  • Strong administrative, organizational & planning skills
  • Ability to multi-task but still attend to detail and focus on important issues
  • Able to set own priorities & take initiative
  • Able to work as part of an international team but also independently
  • Ability to stay focused when working under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines 

Essential Soft Skills

  • Very customer service orientated
  • Skills in a Graphical Design application and HTML of advantage.
  • Strong administrative, organizational & planning skills
  • Confident & personable with good interpersonal skills
  • Communicative, energetic & enthusiastic, with a ‘can do’ approach to tasks.
  • Editorial communication competence, i.e. ability to text and layout company literature & promotion material .

Education

  • College or University education, preferably in marketing field.

Additional Comments

  • Must be prepared to travel several times annually throughout Moldova and occasionally to other European Countries for national and international events, also during evenings and weekends. Flexible in terms of working hours at those events.
