Position summary statement

In the role of Sr Officer, Production & Process Compliance, you will contribute significantly to ensuring flawless compliance (cGMP & GSP) and sustaining various checks and controls at contract manufacturing locations. This position is important for managing CAPA, carrying out detailed investigations, and delivering top-quality training to contract manufacturing personnel. Your knowledge will be vital in preserving our high standards and supporting our goal to supply outstanding products.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure full adherence to cGMP and GSP at contract manufacturing sites.
  • Monitor shop floor activities to guarantee adherence to standards.
  • Conduct GMP rounds of shop floor, warehouses, and service areas.
  • Review manufacturing and packaging activities to confirm Herbalife standards are achieved.
  • Verify in-process parameters for powder manufacturing, packaging, granulation, compression, coating, capsule filling, counter filling (tablet & capsule), and stick packing.
  • Offer assistance to contract manufacturers (CMs) during the resolution of issues in manufacturing and packaging processes.
  • Build, draft, and review batch documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage and facilitate investigations to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and verify the efficiency of these actions.
  • Conduct investigations for non-conformances with cross-functional teams to determine the actual root cause.
  • Support CMs in identifying and implementing CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
  • Ensure timely closure of open investigations and action items, tracking their progress diligently.
  • Compile daily observations from the shop floor and document implemented CAPA.
  • Provide routine updates on the status of manufacturing investigations to project teams and manage client involvement as required.
  • Drive the visual management process to track the progress of investigations, ensuring all critical timelines are met and bringing up issues as necessary.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to support investigations and delegate responsibilities effectively.
  • Support the Operational Excellence (OpEx) team by providing training to CM teams, verifying closed action items, and ensuring the sustenance of implemented actions.

Minimum qualifications

Education

  • Graduate in Food Technology, M.Pharmacy, Nutrition Science, or Mechanical Engineering with food industry experience.

Skills

  • Committed to delivering outcomes with a demonstrated ability to finish projects.
  • Excellent great teammate with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the Pharma, Nutraceutical, or Food industry.
  • Relevant experience in QA or Manufacturing functions.
