About the role:

As an Accounting Analyst you will play a key role in managing daily cash operations, intercompany accounting, and bank reconciliations across multiple entities and accounts.

You will support in-house banking activities, ensure accurate journal entries and account reconciliations, and contribute to timely financial reporting. Your work will be essential for maintaining compliance, supporting treasury operations, and enabling informed decision-making.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Monitor and analyze daily bank statements to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
  • Prepare and post journal entries related to cash movements, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with accounting standards
  • Perform regular reconciliations of cash-related general ledger accounts to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data
  • Review and verify incoming payments and remittance advice from global affiliates.
  • Support the preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to month-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting packages
  • Assist with year-end audit preparation by providing documentation, reconciliations, and responding to auditor queries
  • Collaborate with internal teams in Luxembourg and liaise with global finance colleagues to ensure consistency and accuracy in accounting practices.

 

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, including exposure to core accounting processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • French is a strong asset
  • Advanced Excel skills; ability to work with large datasets and reporting tools
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial data
  • Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and account reconciliation
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
