About the team and role:
The Business Insights Group’s purpose is to deliver value added insights to support business decisions by understanding the data, the marketing plan and the business better than anyone else in the company. Collaborating and leveraging subject matter expertise, translating complex data into meaningful results, delivering high value to our partners in the business.
The Senior Manager will be responsible for analysing and interpreting business performance and different initiatives for the Europe and Africa region. It involves making informed recommendations to support business growth and analysing efficacy of various Sales and Marketing initiatives. This will extend to insights of business trends and metrics, marketing plan development, promotions, events and products. The role will have strong links and interactions with regional teams and will lead a team of 4 analysts.
In this role you will:
- Provide a view of possible business outlook highlighting areas of risks and opportunities
- Provide credible challenges and recommend ideas to drive business growth – the role will bring these through marrying data with business considerations
- Take the lead in analysing business results by delivering accurate, timely and meaningful insights. The findings should support future improvements through post implementation reviews that will guide better execution in subsequent initiatives.
- Be an strategic thinker with the ability to take a broad, cross-functional view and connect diverse data points to uncover meaningful insights and opportunities
- Proactively partner with regional teams and act as an advisor to enhance decision-making
- Understand financial implications of business growth initiatives
- Monitor business metrics to identify areas of improvement
- Work with local teams to gain a deep knowledge of local market dynamics and initiatives
- Work collaboratively cross-functionally to be able to provide rounded assessments
- Adapt to changing requirements and able to lead ad hoc analysis
- Lead innovative projects
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Manage a Team of 4 analysts
- Involve the team in decision-making processes
- Maintain employee focused and Herbalife culture, led by example, motivate, coach and develop direct reports
Our requirements:
- Subject matter expertise in analytics and insights, 8+ years of experience in the functional areas of business analysis
- 8+ years with Business Intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, OBIEE or Hyperion
- Highly analytical with ability to synthesis high volume of data into clear and actionable insights
- Willing to do and try new analysis and methods
- The individual will be someone who has sound understanding of Herbalife’s Marketing Plan and business model
- Excellent problem solving and decision making
- Highly collaborative individual – innovation may not be always from individual itself but how to spark and then leverage any other ideas raised in different areas
- Worked in highly dynamic changing environment
- Worked in an international environment
- Demonstrable ability to interact effectively with individuals from different countries and cultures, with a sensitivity to cultural diversity.
- Worked in companies where data points link to many different business drivers
- Able and willing to work in the fast pace environment with demanding deadlines and ability to multi-task by handling several projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher level
