About the Role:

We are looking for an Accountant Accounts Payable to join our Finance team in Luxembourg. This role is ideal for someone with strong numerical skills, experience working in high volume AP environments and the ability to work accurately under pressure. You will be responsible for processing invoices, supporting month end activities, and ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.

 

The ideal candidate will need to bring a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a customer focused approach when working with internal teams and external suppliers.

 

In this role you will:

  • Process high volumes of invoices accurately and in line with company policies.
  • Manage supplier accounts, including resolving queries and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Support month-end close, including preparing and posting accruals.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies.
  • Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with internal controls.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider finance team to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records within the AP system and ensure timely updates.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and external vendors.

 

Our Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of Accounts Payable experience in a high volume environment.
  • Experience with month‑end accruals.
  • Commercial experience is an advantage.
  • Highly numerate with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and process large volumes of paperwork accurately.
  • Experience using major finance systems, Oracle is a strong advantage.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Customer focused approach when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Intermediate level of English (written and spoken).
  • Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
