About the role:

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Global Business Services organization as a Junior Accountant. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop foundational experience in accounting and financial operations within an international environment. You will support daily accounting activities and payment‑related processes for multiple countries across the EMEA region.

 

 

In this role, you will:

  • Support daily accounting operations and payment processes and meeting defined deadlines.
  • Enter, verify, and process financial documents.
  • Assist with basic journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Communicate with internal teams across EMEA to help resolve routine payment inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
  • Monitor and support daily payment activities.
  • Assist with handling returned or rejected payments.
  • Contribute to the preparation of standard reports and status updates.
  • Support the team in processing manual invoices, credit memos, and related transactions.
  • Participate in Month‑End Close activities.
  • Help maintain consistent service quality and support Key Performance Indicatiors reporting.

Our requirements:

  • 6 months of experience in accounts payable, payments, or related finance functions is highly appreciated.
  • Education in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong customer service skills (email and phone communication).
  • Analytical mindset and willingness to improve processes.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office; experience with Oracle or another ERP system is an advantage.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and customer‑focused approach
  • Very good command of English (minimum B2)
  • Experience in a Shared Services or outsourcing environment is an asset but not required
