Overview

ROLE AT A GLANCE: 

This position will be responsible for managing Inventory at new CMs Geltec-Sarigam (Gujrat) . This position will be responsible for smooth material planning for both RM& PM along with ensuring the stock reconciliation between CM and Herbalife Books, Notifying the relevant stakeholder for the material status (Shortage/Excess), Analysis of the Inventory KPIs and publishing MIS.

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT: 

This role is for the new upcoming CM i.e Geltec Sari gam in Gujrat and is critical as will be taking care of the all the Inventories management activities at this new CM Site. This position will be doing coordination between different functional teams like Finance, QA, SCP,GSS in performing the physical inventory counts, PWC counts, Material availabity as per production plans, Walkthroughs at site/warehouses.

 

LEADERSHIP AND SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Responsible for Inventory management at CM site starting from in-ward of the RM/PMs, On-hand stock and dispatch of the FG.
  • Ensuring the Herbalife processes are being followed for inward and outward of materials
  • Ensuring the weekly and monthly reconciliation of the stocks.
  • Ensuring close coordination with the CM team for smooth execution of plan
  • Ensure and issue the RM/PM against the batch requirement in Oracle and to the CM as per production requirement
  • Collaborate with various cross functional team members for execution of the plan by sharing the shortage and following up on the ETAs.
  • Weekly Shortage/Excess material analysis and sharing the requirement and challenges with the cross functional teams against the plan.
  • Ensuring the various system entries required for inventory management like QC sample issuance, material returns (MRNs), extra issuance, RTVs, trials material issuance etc
  • Ensuring the FG completion is punched in system and the OSP jobs against the POs are closed weekly and monthly followed by MIS/reporting and Ensuring compliance to ASCP activities.
  • MIS generation on various systems and procedures as per Herbalife requirement.
  • Trainings on various Herbalife processes and procedures to CM staff and management to make them understand our requirements
  • He will be responsible for FG dispatch through STN generation, e-way bill generation and timely communication to SC/warehousing team.
  • Creating MIS for internal Herbalife's Weekly and monthly operations reviews and responsible for ensuring Manufacturing KPIs are achieved, trending of KPIs, Actions on deviations and closure of all action items.
  • Utilization of Analysis tools for analysing the data prior to share with the team
  • Implementing and following Obsolete and Slow-moving mechanism for ensuring the MIS around these
  • Ensuring the segregation of materials/stock in system as per Herbalife Procedures and processes.
  • Ensuring the compliance to SOX controls and having a internal review mechanism in place
  • Knowledge of Oracle/SAP or other ERP is must along with computer skills like MS office.

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS: 

Education

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in any field.

Experience

  • 3-5 years
  • Industry Type: Pharma/Nutraceutical/Food
  • Must having experience in managing inventories and controls around the inventory (RM/PM/FG) in previous organization.

Skills/Certifications 

  • Must have experience in handling Inventory at the mentioned industry type. 
  • Experience of SAP/Oracle/ERP software.
  • Result Oriented/Getting things done.
  • Team Player.
  • Experience or trained in leading and contributing in Productivity projects.
  • Must be well versed with Microsoft office (Word, Power point & Excel)
  • Good Communication Skills both written and verbal.
