THE ROLE:
The Procurement Sr. Analyst is responsible for contributing to various Indirect Procurement objectives to realize maximum benefit to the business, specifically for the categories of Facilities Management, Security Services, and IT Procurement (Licenses). He/She will work with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams on spend management initiatives. The designated will undertake the implementation of category-specific strategies, drive strategic sourcing activities, and build supplier relationship management programs for various categories of indirect spend. Additionally, he/she will work directly on the identification, tracking and management of savings/value.
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
- Realizes maximum benefit to the business by implementing category-specific supply strategies, ensuring that products are specified and optimized with the best supplier input and capabilities and using all demand-sided opportunities with selected suppliers
- Actively drives compliance of the category strategies and sourcing projects with Herbalife Procurement Policy, Directive, Guidelines and local Procurement SOPs as well as legal and regulatory requirements
- To run QBR and KPI's through channelizing user teams’ inputs and supplier platform establishment
- Market intelligence – searching new vendors, setting pricing benchmarks including but not limited to both primary and secondary research
- Vendor interaction – floating RFQ, getting quotes from vendors, answering doubts, negotiations
- User department interaction – getting details & specifications of required material or service, site visits for contract execution & service delivery, suggesting alternate vendors
- Data Analysis – Spend analysis, opportunity assessment
- Excel – Advance excel skills for formulae driven number crunching
- Creating POs in Oracle and well conversant with RFx process
- Communication – Good written, verbal communication with vendors, internal customers

- Spend Analytics, Hands on Experience of executing large contracts and projects. Strong Negotiation Skills with detailed in depth understand of Supply market dynamics

- Initiator who takes ownership of the activities & ensure successful completion of the same
- Must be assertive, persuasive, analytical, and an excellent communicator with solid organization and prioritization skills.
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Graduation with Procurement knowledge would be desirable
- More than seven (7) years of professional experience in areas related to business analysis in focusing on technical and commercial aspects of business-related contracting, procurement, and strategic sourcing
- Experience in Market Intelligence of indirect spend categories
- Experience in Supplier analysis and Sourcing strategies, Contract Management
- Experience in price benchmarking
- Experience in Management Consulting is an advantage - specifically structured problem solving, constructive challenge/probing
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concisely, and coherent manner
- Mature attitude coupled with effective interpersonal skills, communication & listening skills
- Strong analytical abilities, able to handle/interpret large volumes of data, out of box thinking to provide valuable insights on economic, technical, financial and/or commercial areas to support decision making
- Proficiency across Microsoft tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
