About the role:
As Human Resources Manager at our Venray Distribution Center, you will shape the people agenda for a complex, international operation. Working closely with managers, employees, HR Centres of Expertise, and business leaders, you will translate business priorities into practical HR solutions. You will lead employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational change; ensure compliance with Dutch labor law; and build an engaged, productive workplace. Success in this role means building trusted partnerships with leaders, resolving employee matters fairly and effectively, and turning workforce insights into actions that strengthen engagement, capability, and operational performance.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with local Management Team and business leaders to provide guidance and support on HR-related matters, including performance, development, and organizational changes.
  • Anticipate employee relations risks, identify talent and workforce needs, and work with leaders to turn those insights into practical action plans.
  • Act as a key point of contact for complex employee relations issues and lead fair and thorough investigations.
  • Collaborate with our HR Global Business Services team to ensure timely and accurate updates related to local HR processes, policies, and legal changes.
  • Provide coaching to managers on career development, performance improvement, and team engagement.
  • Support the implementation of organizational design changes and succession plans.
  • Manage relationships with temporary staffing partners and oversee the effectiveness of temporary labor processes.
  • Monitor HR metrics, analyze trends, and develop targeted action plans in collaboration with HR colleagues.
  • Represent the company with local labor authorities and participate in engagements with the Workers Council.
  • Oversee and contribute to initiatives that support employee engagement, retention, and professional growth.

Our requirements:
Education:

  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • HR certification preferred.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, including substantial responsibility for employee relations, Dutch labor law, and organizational development.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex HR situations and partner with senior leadership.

Skills:

  • Solid knowledge of Dutch labor law and regulatory compliance.
  • Fluent English is required; proficiency in Dutch is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Analytical mindset and confidence in using HR data to drive decisions.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, international environment.

Our benefits include (based on a full time employment):

  • 8% holiday allowance per year.
  • Car allowance.
  • 25 holidays on a full-time contract.
  • Up to 3 additional days off every six months, subject to the applicable attendance policy.
  • A (non-sick) net attendance allowance of €150, subject to the applicable policy.
  • 15 hours of wellbeing per year.
  • Discretionary annual bonus.
  • Pension and insurance packages (WGA gap & accident insurance).
  • Personal development access via platforms such as GoodHabitz, LinkedIn Learning, and Herbalife University.
  • Hybrid working, with up to two days per week working from home.
  •
  • Work-from-home compensation.
  • Company laptop.
  • Unlimited access to fruit and Herbalife products at work and discount for personal use.
